Dr. Luis Wong Hsu, a founding member of the "Centro Integral de Oncología" (CIO), is a radiologist graduated from the University of Costa Rica, where he also obtained his specialization in radiology and medical imaging in 2006.
He pursued postgraduate studies with an emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and positron emission tomography at the Hospital Clinic Barcelona and the University of San Diego, California, in 2011, and at the Santa Fe Foundation Bogotá in 2014. Another area of his interest is non-vascular intervention, and he is also widely recognized for his extensive experience in interpreting images in oncology patients.
Dr. Wong is an active member of several societies and associations, including RSNA (Radiology Society of North America), SAR (Society of Abdominal Radiology), and ACRIM (Costa Rican Association of Radiology and Medical Imaging).
